The heart of the Balance Trunk system is a very sensitive multi-axial platform able to detect the movements of the pelvis in anterior-posterior direction and Right-Left. The stability of the system is adjustable by the operator in relation to the proprioceptive ability of the patient-customer from a minimum of 1 (maximum instability) to a maximum of 30 (maximum stability).
For a proper evaluation of the movement of the pelvis it is necessary that between the femur and leg there is an angle of about 90 °. The seat of Balance Trunk system is equipped with a very accurate electrical piston which is able to place the patient in the correct position before the evaluation or training session.
Using the trunk sensor, while the patient manages in sitting position on the movable footplate, the operator can easily "break" the trunk into two parts. The lower one (pelvic), measured by the movement of the platform, the higher one (chest), measured by the trunk sensor.
Each client is unique and each client has their own program, so each client has a TecnoBody Key. Upon insertion into any TecnoBody device, the system recognizes the client and automatically programs the guided training. TecnoBody Key contains not only your client’s training program, but also and above all, their assessment statistics: force, balance, stability, flexibility, etc. TecnoBody Key is a powerful and flexible system for your patient to follow professionally in all its rehabilitation phases.
TRUNK-MF is a dynamic TRUNK Balance System of assessment and training in a sitting position and in getup transition, TRUNK-MF is also part of the Postural/Functional Circuit.

The software of the Trunk- MF systems comes with many assessment programs that allow the operator to understand exactly what the proprioceptive conditions of their client – patient are. There are two main assessment modules : the Circular proprioceptive Rating (clockwise and anti -clockwise) and the evaluation of the Range of Motion (Star) . Both assessments are critical to fully understand the motor skills of the subject , especially in the pelvic area .
After an evaluation phase, the software proposes automatically a series of rehabilitative paths designed to improve the perceptual conditions of each individual movement. Rehabilitation tracks are especially useful for correct proprioceptive training for a further check at the local level . The colored dots appear to be reached by the software are the points limit or joint transit (Joint Position Sense ) , the lines represent the ideal kinesthetic path . The software provides in real-time the gap between the ideal kinesthetic line and the track performed by the patient .
There are six games for balance, capable of attracting the attention of the patient during the training sessions.
The Trunk-MF system is fully integrated with the TecnoBody Management System and the platform software which manages all devices of the TecnoBody Line..
